God and Love is a very beautiful tale of love and faith. The book Khuda Aur Muhabbat written by Hashim Nadeem and has been read almost all over the world. The story revolves around two persons Hammad and Eman. Hammad belongs to rich family. He meets Eman at a party, and falls in love with Eman at the very first sight۔

But unfortunately, there is a huge obstacle between Hammad and Eman, which is Eman’s family. Hammad’s family also doesn’t agree to their relationship and this makes Hammad very emotional. He left home and start working at a railway station to make ends meet. Eman asks him many times for going back his home but Hammad refuse. Eman is the girl with pure dignity who actually does not like talking with men but Hammad is the only man that she talks and shares her problems they love each other. The twist in this love story comes that Eman is already engaged. But still she loves Hammad. She suffers a lot in her life because of her love and this relationship that makes her very ill. She only passes the last days of her life, when Hammad comes to know about Eman’s condition, and he came to see her. Eman falls severely ill and spends her day and night lying in bed and refusing to talk to anyone. When Hammad comes to her home, she opens her eyes and just sees her for once and leaves the world.

After Eman’s death, Hammad leaves for London for his further education where he takes admission in university where all students and teachers are Jews except Hammad. In university Hammad meets with a girl her name is Sara who is the daughter of the head of university. They become best friends with the passage of time, and Sara falls in love with Hammad. However Hammad just loved once in life that was Eman. They spend more time with each other and develop a bond over time. Sara accepts Islam and changes her name into Eman. Unfortunately due to some problems Hammad has to leave London, but he promises to Sara that he would be back very soon. The book ends with Hammad who wins the hearts of all students of his university and all of his class mates becomes very close to him due to his unique personality and honesty. His love for the students and teachers remain an example for everyone which Hashim denies in this book beautifully.

Hashim Nadeem’s expression throughout this novel will teach us that how actually love and religion are important in every one life. These two attributes define someone’s morality. He is such a writer who always presents the things as they are because his purpose is to teach people about life, ignorance, knowledge and love.

ABOUT AUTHOR

Hashim Nadeem is a Pakistani Urdu novelist, drama writer, poet and fiction writer.He was born on February 3, 1976.  He is a film directory and producer. His novels includes Bachpan ka December, Khuda Aur Muhabbat, Aik Muhabbat aur sahi, and Muqaddas, in which he has put in his utmost best.

He also produced 27 telefilms and 11 drama serials as first private producer, among four of them have won different awards, in which he was also writer and director.

Most importantly his writings deal with the consequences of challenges faced by the people and humanity in their daily life and also it describe the importance of love and religion. 

Due to the beautiful expression his writings are famous and uniqueness. He puts in, all the while elaborating the chain of events in his books.
